Hi there!

I'm new here but really like the PokerTH for Linux. One thing that I noted "missing" IMO was a "starting sound" for a new hand.
think it couldn't really hurt, could it? ;-)

Good idea. A sound for rising blinds is already there. I would also like to have this sound, when i made i pig pot :)

do you mean when you want to hear a sound when you are dealt new cards(when a new hand begins)

i've noticed a sound called, dealtwocards.wav ,in the sound directory
but have yet to hear it implemented, maybe the developers forgot
to apply it.

yes. sth like that; when a new hand is dealt -people get fresh cards- a sound could "wake up" those of us who actually use their pcs for sth else than poker (heresy I say! :P ).
wouldn't hurt anybody and it lessens the haste you have when your hearing the timeout while browsing/reading mails etc :laugh:
