On IRC AFAIK none. Take a look at Discord (I'm not there as I do not agree on Discord terms...).

We turned back from IRC when they deployed a more secure layer. As IRC was not used by the players at all it seemed logical not to spend extra time to adjust the server to the new sec layers.

I decline Discord for the same reason as BarbaB ... what about xmpp or silc?
