New season always starts after step 4 is played.

That alone won't be enough to make BBC more sophisticated.

As long as a new season with old tickets remains, it is not a new season.
Then you don't need a ranking either !

End of season is end of season...(step 4)
New season is new season...

It's currently neither.

If you really want to change BBC... you have to do more about it... ;-)

*Edit
Who is the winner of the season?
Winner of Step 4 or from the ranking No.1 with old tickets ???

Why did we choose this formula?
Because it gives Players who play more often a little bonus,
but high scores requires good results too (because of β€œPoints per Game”).

One thing in advance!
I don't want to be seen as a bad loserette!

But...

In most competitions, whoever has the most "wins"..wins the championship!
The BBC is different!

It's a bit strange...when someone won a 3-month season but he actually won only two (!) games/tables (Step 2) in 42 games = 4,76%.

Due to a strange points rule (formula)...which has been mixed up with a 2nd tournament called: "BBC Cup".

If u calculate the percentage of wins in season vs. playing games (without BBC Cup formula)...
there is a completely different result.

My husband asked me: What does it mean:

"Because it gives Players who play more...often a little bonus.." ?

Did they choose "this formula" for "winners or losers"...
...or are these two tournaments just incompatible?

Can someone find an answer for ?

😘

According to your logic whoever has the most 10th places should be last. Here you win clearly. :D

If we look at your results in "Ranking + BBC/Season 9" my dear boehmi...
...then you still have a lot to learn in poker!
